Yeah... Cruella works as a supporting character that is the evil antagonist. I am not that interested in her as a main character.

I mean in my eye, expectations for turning a woman who wants to murder puppies for fashion into an anti-hero for a prequel were quite low. The only way to make this work would be to play into the inherent stupidity of the premise. Just treat her like a villain in Batman 66 and you could pull this off.

No, it would be like saying that Magic was a Yu-Gi-Oh! ripoff, because Digimon came first.

Also, huh? He is (was) VERY successful, and he is gorgeous. Albeit that can be subjective, but Franco is fairly easy to put in the “handsome” category. Those laugh lines...

Your comment makes no sense. A lot of sexual predators are hideous nobodies.

Are you serious!? You do realize that ANYONE can be a sexual predator, right?? I would assume a good majority of them are neither handsome or successful. A very ignorant statement for you to post.😬

Same. I will be renewing Disney + just for this show.

I never much cared for Rugrats growing up—I always found the art style kind of grotesque and off-putting even before I had something resembling discernible taste. But taking those grotesque character designs and converting them into plasticky, soulless, cheap-looking CGI is...not an improvement.

They tried that with Kobe Bryant’s accuser and it didn’t work out too well

I would imagine that the fact that this is a lawsuit for damages, rather than criminal charges, makes a difference here as well.

yes, I would never go to court as a survivor. I wouldn’t survive the process.

It’s a crappy situation, because you’ve got that constitutional mandate that the defendant has the right to confront their accuser, but good lord it makes it horrible for the accuser when the circumstance is as vile as this.

holy fuck the courts make being an assault survivor hard.

...yeah but slower.

I knew it was leading up to Sam becoming the new Captain America, but it also felt like the series was illustrating why this wasn’t a wise move. A black Captain America is a representation win that’s a Pyrrhic victory. It’s implying that Falcon is an inherently lesser persona than Captain America. Sam will be

Thats fair.  I have high hopes for Zoe Kravitz in the upcoming film but beating Kitt, Newmar and Pfeiffer is going to be hard.

South Park also has much shorter seasons. For context, The Simpsons reached South Park’s current episode count in Season 14, when the show was still considered to be pretty good, but shy of its heights. In fact even though South Park has 23 seasons and The Simpsons has 32, The Simpsons has more than double the number

Was it season 15 that had “you’re getting old” and “Broadway bro-down?”

Isn’t it time to just start ignoring Morissey?

Then maybe you really need to watch Gotham past mid-Season Two and give it a chance to see what we’re all talking about. And take it all with a huge pinch of salt.
