Oh no - you see, you missed the post-credits sequence of the first one : It had a guy show up at the site of the Crucifixion and say to a person "We're putting a team together - it's called the disciples initiative."

How, exactly, does one do a sequel to that?
You mean a series about a guy running through endless mazes with robots shooting at him while being pursued by a bouncing ball named :Evil Otto"?
I just bought the game last night and started playing. I am still figuring everything out but, wow, this is GOOD. It's slick, it's fun and it's immensely playable.
Korra was pretty good. I am not sure if it was better than Avatar, but it was a decent show in it's own right. Once it got going it had much of that same "Rather adult show going on in the margins" that Avatar had…
Well, let's face it - Voltron is not going to be much more than a generic show almost by definition. I am sure that there were ones before it but it was basically the show that defined that idea of "Several smaller robots connect into a bigger one to fight monsters" in most people's minds. Since the original there…
That's an interesting idea…
When I get home from work I am gonna splurge on it. It'll make a nice birthday present to myself.
It just clicked for me… Wayward pines is a horror tinged retelling of the Foundation trilogy.
My usual rule of thumb is this - I am willing to pay $2/hour of game. So, for example, Assassins Creed 4 paid off handsomely - for $60 I derived about 100 hours of gameplay from it (Since I decided to do every side quest and tried to collect everything). But AC: Syndicate… not so much since I didn't feel like doing…
I never quite figured out why I would want a single player mode on a game like this to be honest. It seems odd to me that a game obviously made to be played online would be pinged by some for not having a solo mode. But that is just me, obviously.
I am actually a big fan of the youtube series "Previously Recorded" by RedLetterMedia. While I think that they can be slightly snobbish on games (I completely disagreed with them on Quantum break, for example) they do tend to give a pretty balanced review of the games they discuss… so I was hoping that they'd hit…
I think you sold me. Gonna buy it tonight after work… and knowing the speed of the Xbox Store in terms of downloading, I'll be able to start playing sometime next year… :-)
Basically same here. For that matter in PvZ GW I tend to play as a Colonel Corn simply because of the fact that then I can lob a bomb that covers a large area (And because of the "Jump and shoot below you" ability is incredibly fun to pull out when someone is close). I tend to be very bad at aiming precisely in quick…
I play a lot of Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare and I noticed the same problem at first, especially when the sequel came out (Everyone suddenly was the new characters). But if Overwatch follows the same trajectory, I'd predict that will even out over time as more people gravitate to the characters that they like (And…
That's cool. I actually like that approach, to be honest.
I did enjoy Splatoon, although I was never very good at it.
I've been wanting to try this out but the price is rather high and I am usually pretty bad at FPS games. On the other hand my most played game of this generation is "Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare" so I do love an online shooter with cartoony graphics… And I did kinda like Titanfall…
D-V-Ds you say? What is this thing "DVD"? Is that part of the "Physical media" that our grandparents used?
I am all for seeing a sequel to this prequel (That is not just a remake of GB 2 - which was not great to begin with) with this cast. I'd love to see that.
