I agree with you here. Most games allow you to get stabbed and maimed while staying alive. That seems like it takes a lot more suspension of disbelief than the dodge roll. It's also about fun over realism.

Loved the book. Loved all of Gillian Flynn's books and recommend Dark Places and Sharp Objects to those that haven't read them. I'm glad that the movie appears to be a worthwhile adaptation.

Money-Sabotaging Emotion #9: Being drunk with one-touch purchasing available on your Amazon App on your phone.
Any word on whether the firmware update allowing the use of DS4 will be available at launch? I'd rather get the $99 PS TV and the $30 16GB memory card as opposed to the $140 bundle with a controller I might not need and a smaller memory card.
Depends on what you want it for. I want it to play Vita games on my TV (never had a vita) and the Ps1 classics I already own on PSN but can't play on Ps4. I'll be going with a PS TV because I played everything I wanted to on Ps3 before I got rid of it.
East Carolina University. But I only know that because I have family who went there. Oh, and Chris Johnson was good that one year.
People get caught up in the impressiveness of the multi-knife kills for the Hunter supercharge. Regardless of the fact that they aren't doing anything special it just looks cool. I think that's why people are freaking out when comparing it to the Titan's Fist or the Warlock's grenade.
This can be said for every class. I play as a Titan and can wipe an unlimited amount of players standing near a node. Everyone's supercharged ability one shots groups of (semi) clustered players.
I just wish Blizzard had better control over dupes, exploits, and hacks in the console version. I enjoy playing with random people but every other T6 game on console is filled with exploiters.
I don't see how FFXV flopping would end the numbered series. Isn't the XIV reboot wildly successful? Even if XV tanked, wouldn't we at least see XVI as an MMO. I though I read over 2 million subscribers for XIV right now (PC included I know but I'm sure there are a healthy number on consoles). There is no way they'll…
Richard Sherman had 0 balls thrown his way. I don't think this will be indicative of how Rodgers distributes the ball this season. They are going to have to challenge Sherman in the playoffs though or they'll be an easy out.
So contrary to your name you don't actually like cheap beer? I'd buy at least 4 12 packs of that $5 beer in hopes that it was palatable. You just can't pass up 42 cent beers.
Love my Windows Phone. The interface is so much better than android an IOS, Cortana is better than siri. The only problem is they could use more app developer love.
Actually it would be quite easy for Torment 2. Just join the rift it forward community. If we're estimating a 40% drop rate on Torment 2 that's just 2-3 runs. Even if you can only make it up to let's say GR 15 that's still 15 bosses dropping multiple legendaries. You'll be doing T6 in no time.
"Sports are all about competition, rivalry and winning."
I don't typically find the games too long. But the season is too long and the playoffs don't have enough teams in them. When the season runs through October and your team is essentially eliminated by the All-Star game it's hard to keep interest.
As I mentioned to others Deadspin is an exception. ESPN, team specific boards, and Yahoo sports are the abyss I'm referring too.
You're not looking in the right places then. Someone else had mentioned Jemele Hill in this thread. She and Ashley Fox over at ESPN have seen their fare share of rape/death threats. ESPN has stated publicly that they've received some heinous shit regarding those personalities/writers.
