Ashes was better balanced? I really like it, but the trash mob to actual mob ratio is way too high imo

Maria never gave me much trouble, on any of my builds (which encompasses all weapons). Orphan is tough, but he's probably my favourite Soulsborne boss along with Watchdog of Old Lords, the feeling of fighting those guys is fantastic
Rom was the stumbling block for me, 20+ attempts and a genuine feeling of 'is this actually possible or is it just luck that some people get through? based despair

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY DISAGREE RE: CHARACTER CREATOR
I'll go to bat for DaS2 DLC: I consider it almost on par with From's best work, disjointed as it is. DaS2 is better viewed as fan fiction though
You may know already, but Miyazaki deliberately keeps things vague and disjoijnted so as to replicate his experience trying to read English language books as a kid. There's no right or wrong, it's just fun to speculate
I started on NG+6, and while I'll concede that bosses need their HP reduced, I found the mob enemies fun to fight. It wasn't any more difficult than fighting low level enemies with a SL1 character, everything took 5 or 6 hits. My character is optimized to heck, but as you're in NG+4, I would presume yours is too.
I'd need to look into it, but In the start there was only dark I thought, and Gwyn began the cycle of light and dark. The 'Dark Soul' only existed after this, in the shadow of the first flame. I haven't looked into it for a while, but I seem to recall that being the case.
As someone nearly said above, this is now the single line on his resume when applying for work at restaurants and the like
My favourite 'That was probably worth a second listen' from recent days is RTJ: 'Killer Mike and El-P, fuck boys, think about it…'
I thought it was Wycliffe prior to this article

Frampt was a traitor to his kind, Kaathe's intentions were more like the rest of the snake dogs: they want you to usher in the new age of dark so they can roam the land again. A serpent is an 'unfinished' dragon in Souls world, and the age of darkness was when dragons roamed the land. Now the dragons have been killed…
I thought perfection could only exist as a concept, that such a state was unattainable. However, I am now considering how well your avatar matches your comment, and I can't see it being improved. Not one iota. Bravo
I always thought it was sort-of a reluctant bow. He didn't want that ending, but now it's here, it's futile to fight it. You are king of the snake dogs now, he has to bow
Yeah…there's a theory going around that that's her egg…like,
that's how she was born.
If you just run you take your chances, and, guess what, the experience will not be as satisfying. Outside of the angels there's absolutely no game-imposed reason to run though, it's on the player
The great thing about their 'appearance' in TRC is that The statues depict them as sort of dog/mammals, whereas the statues in Lothric display them as some kind of serpent/angel hybrid, suggesting no civilization has ever seen their bodies, they have always appeared as we see them in Dark Souls 1. I guess they wanted…
Isn't it strange! When something is given publicity, seemingly any publicity, cretins will flock to it! Maybe some people thought they were 'hate watching' it or something, but they just couldn't stay away, huh?
