TLOU has a lot of weird stuff like that where it relies on the player's momentum. It's why for me it doesn't really stand up to second playthrough: I remember a guy peering over a ledge looking for me with a flashlight, which, first time around, was a real thrill and made me sneak behind stuff. Second time I decided

Are you on PS4? Let It Die is good fun in a similar vein

Yeah, true. That one's alright

I've spoken of my woes playing through FF7 for the first time before (first RPG, no idea what 'levelling' is, trying to make Aeris a tank etc.), and 'Demon Wall' was where it came to a head. I must've tried about 50 times but I had to quit, I just couldn't beat him with my deformed, woefully ill-equipped party. Later

Can commercial pop be considered real music? For me the thing that makes it commercial pop (and not just popular music) is that it doesn't work as real music - it's just product as opposed to an artistic exercise. That's how I defined it for a while anyway. I guess the point is, it doesn't matter

Haha, yeah sounds about right. How did you do?

Very good news! Yeah it seems Majima has all the cool sidestories at the moment, and the cooler city. I ran around looking for stuff to do with Kiryu, and at least where I am at the moment, it seems to be story or nothin'. However, exploring as Kiryu I found a stand that sells takoyaki with highballs, which has made

Wow, I'm impressed! Those screws are super fiddly

A torx 8 security screwdriver is essential, I don't know if that's in the eyeglass kit or not…I just followed this video https://www.youtube.com/wat…. If you have any experience at all with this kind of thing I'm sure it wont present any kind of challenge, i'd be confident doing it again now

It's scary to me opening up anything, but it was actually straightforward and not that delicate. It was filled with grimy red fluff because I machine-washed a 'dry clean only' throw, so for a while it looked like Elmo exploded in my room. It runs silent again now, I wasn't expecting a simple clean job to be so

On Wednesday I played the truly hair-raising Taking the PS4 apart to clean it, and apart from having to leave the house to get a Phillips screwdriver halfway through, it went without a hitch. It no longer sounds like it's trying to take off, or produce espresso. I'm delighted!

dubstep being an example of electronic dance music of course

Fair enough, but Sexx Laws is what I was thinking about when writing that…

but to be equivalent to 'electronic dance music' the cars would be called the most blandly descriptive and archaic term possible, not some snappy name. It would be more like 'people carrying motor carriage' or something. This is the point people!

My point is there's still many, many 'styles' of 'electronic dance music', not just one, and 'electronic dance music' refers to something that has existed for decades. It would be like releasing a new car called 'automobile' with the tagline : now you can drive to work!

Midnite Vultures, only because Odelay, Mellow Gold and One Foot in the Grave were absolutely massive for me growing up, Odelay especially. When Mutations came out I was mildly disappointed but recognized it was a departure, and it has some nice songs on it, whatever. But then Midnite Vultures was posited as being the

I just googled it: he didn't say anything about electronic music being bad at all, I didn't think so given some of his past colabs. Here's the quote if bothered:

'Exit Music for a Film' is risibly depressing, it sounds like someone taking the piss out of Radiohead

ah yeah, makes sense

Just curious, what's stopping you using adblock/ublock at this point?
