I would guess the devs were swapping notes, they were very similar. Disonored wins out in that regards because you could see the time period you were not in through the fan

Yeah thanks I saw that, but I understand 3 had a lot of cut content (nearly half the game apparently), and they remade 1 with a bunch of new features and stories etc., so I'm going to blindly hope/wish they remake them all at some point
Yakuza's combat is literally 'hammer square (x) number of times then hit a different button, and immediately repeat'. I suspect you are overthinking it… just whale on him!
If you are like most players, it will stay with you for weeks to come. I gave up, then couldn't stop thinking about it, and went back to it. It's a true gaming rite of passage, you will develop a deeper appreciation for all other games after completion
OMG how fun is Yakuza 0? I'm absolutely loving my first run through the Yakuza universe! It reminds me of Rockstar's Bully a lot so far: a living, breathing, detailed town in which I have to work my way up the ranks from the bottom, with crazy side quests everywhere, and fights on the streets. Thus far the two side…
It would completely compromise their standing as 'out of the box thinkers' wouldn't it?
Eh, I grew up with Ren and Stimpy and Rocco's Modern Life etc., seems par for the course
>For Verbinski, it’s a return to form… of his best movie, The Ring.
Just pull a chair over to the table and use it as a step
Money is the exact reason, I don't think there's any secret there
Make sure you tune in and make it the highest rated episode ever, thus giving this sub-daily-mail-tabloid-peddler the legitimacy he pretends he has! I've done my part by clicking this link!

We'll see!
Dudeious Baffle
A 'mil' eh? Mark my words, the next republican victory hinges on the generation gap
Yeah, I'm sure this was the brainchild of a fresh-faced college graduate and not some pasty, suited, cynical, coke-addled 50 year old marketing exec
I can see James approaching Seth like 'Hey, are you up for 'Dubious' this weekend bro? Or next weekend? I've got this sweet new projector we can watch it on. I worked really hard on this one, it's important to me. I've got this killer new green we can blaze…' and Seth being like 'Oh, yeah, I don't think I can…when is…
Read everything else I wrote though, it's not hygeine so much as nausea, and breakfast being laughably ill-suited to a strip club. Imagine the poor girls on breakfast duty…
To be fair there's approximately 3 souls-a-likes now, the genre has not expanded that much yet. I guess the tone of 'struggle' was so nailed in the first title that making it sunnier would detract from it?
Just curious, yikes
