I miss Reno 911.

Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street were my favorite things, and some of my earliest TV memories.  I found both of them mesmerizing, and would act out a lot of what I saw on Sesame Street.  With Mr. Rogers I loved Picture Picture and the Neighborhood of Make Believe.

Fred Rogers was so not an asshole that I almost expected to him to be able to skip death completely and just take the hand of the Grim Reaper and walk out of the world completely. If he was in any way an asshole, it would have found it’s way out by now.

It’s not that Captain Kangaroo or Shari Lewis were assholes. Everybody is an asshole. Not Fred Rogers, tho. Fred Rogers was famously not an asshole. That’s why they made a movie about him.

I have to admit, from the sounds of the first two hundred pages I don’t think I can find it in me to begrudge Joe wanting to spend the last hundred talking about Murder, She Wrote.

I can tolerate many things for the sake of television drama, but destroying a model train set is CROSSING THE LINE.

I worked with a Polish immigrant a fews years ago, his brother couldn’t use a female voice for his GPS because his wife would get jealous and start arguing with him. =P

Fair warning, I found him pretty difficult to understand. Especially if I didn’t have the volume up pretty high and/or have anything else playing.

Season 2 is ridiculously try-hard, typical of shows who run out of source material.

They’d at least cast someone Asian to voice the dragon obviously. I’m hoping for Emma Stone.

Go watch both - the first one isn’t really connected but you get prime Robin Williams.

Just watch, it will be the best-selling tour of 1990.

I mean, the appropriate mature/adult thing to do here would be to realize, “Wow, I really misconstrued things back then, didn’t I?” not start yelling that she’s lying to make him look bad because reasons.

but I feel more and more removed from the appeal of the source material with each revision and alternate take

Waay too old. Loughlin is 54 so we need to find someone in their early 30s.

i think after endgame a curse has been lifted or something because i don’t feel any desire to rush out and see this.

I have to think business would be booming for evangelical Christian cults during that 5 year stretch, even if there were some sort of official announcements about what happened. Just how they’d process the “restoration” would be interesting to see...

I wonder how much of The Last Jedi this will walk back.

Peggy Carter taking the Super Soldier serum shouldn’t do much.

I’m 32 and have no children, but even I find your use of “Dad movies” to be an embarrassingly cliched millennial approach to film criticism.  Something featuring people older than you isn’t worthy of glib dismissiveness (and no, your final sentence doesn’t redeem the glib dismissiveness)
