She is beautiful!
Now I want a hot dog, and I'm trying to get back in shape. Thanks!
Is this you? You look amazing in this picture! It’s definitely modeling-portfolio worthy.
I’m pretty sure Coachella is my version of hell. Plus I hate the desert. And music festivals. And hipster douchebags, especially rich hipster douchebags. I have friends who bring up that they used to go when it was “still about the music” so I suspect they are also hipster douches deep down.
Cool and all, but fuck Will.I.Am.
It's not too unreasonable considering she was 99% not the only groupie on the bus with them.
With ya girl, I’m still trying to incorporate thirsty and ratchet.
I saw the Wu with Method and Red and they were claimed. Wu-Tang fluctuates up to 20 members deep. Who are we to judge?
Ohhhhhkay, I’m not sure how you got that from my post. I pretty clearly said that it wasn’t fair to assume that people of color necessarily should be expected to teach in schools that match their ethnicity. On the other hand, looking at your other responses to Oystrice’s post, go away troll.
It actually does happen! I used to work for a venue where they played a few times and they were super friendly and hung out with pretty much anyone who wanted to hang with them, though it was usually ladies. Even so, they would sincerely just chill on the bus, smoke pot, drink beers and chat. Nothing rowdy, no groupie…
Excuse me sir, but Redman is NOT an official member of Wu Tang. I feel as though by saying that he is, you are fucking with Wu Tang Clan and in case you are unaware, they are nothing to fuck with. Thank you.
THAT i would watch. also RIP ODB.
It's not black people's fault they are physically superior to whites in every way.
Do you really think white girls don’t talk and goof around in classes that are led by white teachers? Really? Is that what you are saying???
White teacher here. My knee jerk response/guess for part of this was exactly that income comment. If you're going to make it as a likely first Gen college student, it doesn't surprise me that you would want to shoot for the fences.
I’m so glad you raised the question of whether we should “force people who are not white to take jobs that they don’t want?” Cause that was definitely the question that this article was suggesting we ask.
Just dropping by to mention that minority teachers are important not only because they provide their students with a role model but because they understand the discrimination and racism that their students face and are less likely to dismiss student’s struggles with race issues.
Just look at the curricula of leading teacher education programs and recruiters right now. They’re rife with White savior narratives and educators saving “underprivileged” black and brown kids through the healing powers of standardized test data. And we’re really wondering why that rhetoric doesn’t in draw more…
Are you saying that without viable role models, minorities tend not to enter certain professions? That systematic racism reproduces itself and leads to disparities like this? I’m SHOCKED.
