Self-cancelling turn signals. They are so innate to us that when they don’t work, people tend to drive around with a little flashiemaclickidoodle flashing and clicking at them for the next 15 miles.

"Neigh!!!! This is stupid! I'm a horse, and I hate Jalopnik now because this is so stupid"
Good job torch, on eliminating those who do't "get it". This isn't motortrend. This is Jalopnik.
I'm not sure that's unlikely, with rear engine rwd, and the famous snowplow commercial. My baja-super loves snow.
In an alternate reality, some grandma in a 1997 dodge caravan just locked her brakes in the middle of the turn and under-steered right into that curb.

This video is several years old. Finding original now . . .
I wonder what would have happened to the maintenance costs if you went DIY on the oil changes and brake service.
Its nearly identical to my car, but a year older. I don't think I'd buy this as a daily driver. As a large scale project or a race car, sure.
It IS your initial topic. 1/2 the displacement. Same power. Forced induction.
There aren't many small displacement (and especially forced induction) cars from the 70s around now either. You seem to be disregarding improved oil quality, much tighter machining tolerances and quality control, better balance, and advanced construction materials.
Ummmm 3.0l v6 ecodiesel?
I think its crazy how much power boring cars today have. 268 horsepower in a camry? Why does this sell? People who want camrys want 268 horsepower? I thought they wanted a tame sewing machine, which would sewing machine along for 500,000 miles while getting 35 miles per gallon.
Am I the only one who thinks most of the bystanders speak like they are deaf?
So basically its an S2000.
The only way this could have been better is if they had to use a spatula to scrape him up off of the road and into custody.
