$3500 isn't bad for a stock ranger with an explorer 8.8 . . . then consider the 100% power increase! NP!

It has 4 spark plugs, not 8 like the ranger 2.3s had.
Ohhhhhh. That.
With the 6.0, not so much.
Wow. I didn't know anybody used the auto 4x4 setting in those on dry pavement. I guess that's the one in 3 trillion scenario where its hyper-useful.
They have this thing they used to make called an nv4500. And another called a Tremec TR-6060. I'm not sure about the tremec, but the nv4500 could handle this truck towing two dead Nissan Murano Crosscabriolets with grace. Sure, they'd have to change the gear ratios around so 1st wasn't a "granny" gear.
Could they make…
I would want the diesel personally, but this is one time where I say "PETROL POWWWAH" if it means they can actually make it feasible.
That's jalop as hell. Pretty reckless, but I can respect that.
Raphael, I am suggesting a challenge on your behalf, directed towards the haters:
You don't like the fact that he's a writer for Jalopnik? Write something better, and take his job. Weenies.
I'd like somebody to do a massive burnout in my 2072 Buick-Lifan Regal, with me cremated, ground finely, and diluted into the fuel.
Or in a replica of the Duel truck. Either one I guess.
I love my 89, but when they started messing with the headlights in 1977, things started to get a little less classy. I still like the 86-90 grille better than the 80-85 and 91-93 though. That big bold crosshair is just killer, but I would use words other than "pretty" to describe it.
This car looks like an awkward box. It needs sharper break angles on the roof, and a nice bump in the shoulder, leading into the trunk area. Then it would be sexy.
You haven't lived until you've tried eating Sheetz barbeque "shwings" (wing-dings) while driving through the middle of down-town at 5 pm in a manual. I got one drop of sauce on the shift boot, and left it there as a badge of honor for a month.
Hey, its ok, Boogerface. I'll pick up the tab. Don't worry . . .
I pass through a roundabout every day. I have found three flaws:
1. Many confused drivers in 'Muricaland think that yield = stop.
2. Many confused drivers think you should yield from within the roundabout.
3. Many confused drivers proceed through the roundabout at a rate of speed similar to that of a manatee on land.
Some…
Unfortunately, that's a gross rating for the old Chrysler. So basically, no water pump, fuel pump, fan, alternator, etc. So 300hp gross is more like 225hp net. Still, its impressive how much power those cars made compared to say, an 86 diplomat, or a late model concorde.
Not enough engine, too much truck?
I want this puppy in a early 90s hardbody. Screw the ka24!
'Murica?
