My mom has an 09. It has waves all over the body panels from leaning on it to wash the roof. Yup. Its a little tinny.

She also had an 03 xl7, which was an indestructible bastard, and actually made an effort to be luxurious. Alas, it was a pig compared to the newer model. However, I disagree with Davis. The old car was

I'd give everybody who had bought a half-ton luxury truck in the past 10 years a stern talking to in regards to ruining the market for a truck I would consider.

Yeah. Unfortunately, I do know this.

Picture this:

You changed your oil last week. This week, your gauge starts fluttering from none to half instantly, and sweeping the whole way up and down. The car is running fine, and when it has pressure, its perfectly in the middle of the gauge. What's your reaction?

Mine was,

Torque your damn lugnuts. Then torque them again. And again. This is real life, and you can't stop real life. But you don't EVER want to be the one on either end of a situation like this. I knew these two kids . . . not very well, but it's still shocking when it happens to somebody you've sat next to in theology class

In my opinion, the grille was the part that broke the look. And it was present on the trucks and the broncos of course, so I'd call a similar f150 ugly too.

The Bronco wasn't winning any style points with me in 1987-91. Personally, I think that was the ugliest era of full size Bronco ever created. That isn't saying much though, because its not horrible. But it certainly isn't as good as it was before or after.

Heads, manifolds, the usual bolt on-off sort of parts.

Now playing

Another nomination of the Leaning Tower of POWER, also known as the Chrysler slant six.

- There are lots of stories of them being driven considerable distances by ignorant drivers with no coolant, no oil, or both.

- They've been used and abused in industrial applications for ages.

- You could order up to a 2-ton medium

#9. The very worst part is not the wheel. Its the gear selector, which appears to be identical to that of a cavalier.

Here is something my mom and girlfriend have that I don't: INTUITION.

It doesn't matter how long I look at it, how intrusive I get, how many signs of wear and abuse I don't find, and how long I spend molesting the car in ways I shouldn't molest it.

If they whisper in my ear "Its a piece of shit," then I believe them,

I'd say its the only response to the "raise the limit for me, because I can afford to pay you for it" argument. It has everything to do with the entitlement of wealth, and nothing to do with actual driving ability. My 65 year old aunt goes 90 every day, and can pay for it. Should she? Hell no! She is one of the most

Until it's undeniably dead, or a suitable replacement threatens to fall into my lap. 24 years ain't hard, yo. I've only had it for the past 4 years, but I've put on a quarter of it's miles!

This is true. I'm a fan of the leaning tower 'o power, but this is a lot of meat to push around. It's just humorous when the baby mopar in a van is considered the most powerful option.

Its pretty bad when you can look at a 140 horsepower slant six in a 5,000lb vehicle, compare it to the competition, and honestly conclude that it "makes some power ". Hills must really suck in any of these.

But the transit is the only ford here.

You mean you'd go with the dodge if you felt up to the mechanical challenge?

Just another day in HACKENSACK! With a name like HACKENSACK, one would think this is a common occurrence.

I HAS IDEA!

5-speed x 2 = 10 speed, semi truck style.

Just add an auxiliary overdrive unit, and throw a high/low switch somewhere on the shifter. There are so many possible ways to implement it. The major task would be teaching drivers how to use it.

Howzabouts . . .

Keep the v8. Drop the v6. Add a turbo-4.

Aye?

Especially in Pennsylvania. There isn't really anything to pre-run around here. The raptor is out of it's element. I'm sure it still does fine, but its still like playing soccer with a really nice volleyball. The Ram Power Wagon is legitimately a better choice. If you go off road in PA, you'll be crawling through mud,
