I was you, and it took roughly 2 months to get back in and i am enjoying it, but its tiresome, Lightfall is a make or break. Its hard solo, but oddly super fun with at least 1 friend.

How are they milking a title they are not charging money to keep playing? its not live service. Point that finger at LOL, Fortnite, Overwatch(2), and such. Slapping skins and colors on stuff for 5-10-15 is a milking.

Most areas(mine in so cal) have a theater that show old movies and typically they are showing the indie non major studio features.
