Certainly not. I love the crystal clear look of the pixels on my TV. Handhelds never had scanlines or noise and phosphor like TVs, they had raw, colorful and beautiful pixels, and we can finally enjoy the classics without the TV distorting them.

There were a lot of changes, it's like the ultimate combination of Streets of Rage 1, 2 and 3, levels and characters from SOR 1 and the master system/game gear versions had to be completely remade to match the graphic style of SOR2/3, multiple routes and paths have been added, original stages were created, new enemies…

Just to clear things up, the game is not redesigned in HD, it uses sprites ripped straight from the original games (and lots and lots of new ones created to match), the game runs at 320x240 resolution with an option to upscale to 640x480 for graphic filters.

It really depends on what you're looking for. Rent it if you like over the top mafia stories, (you'll have no problem catching up because it has lenghty recaps of the previous games) or if you're into old-school beat'em ups like River City Ransom or Streets of Rage, the controls certainly evoke that feeling.

Blu-rays run at 30fps or 24fps (if your TV supports 24hz mode). 120hz and upwards TVs can simulate 60fps on 30fps movies and games with frame interpolation, it creates the common "Soap Opera" effect.

Most modern monitors don't scale well a lower resolution image and you end up with an ugly, blurry mess, I prefer my gaming at native 1920x1080 not because it has more pixels, but because the image is always clearer at the monitor's native resolution.

This is the GRAW scandal all over again. As a mexican myself, I would love to see Grand Theft Auto: Mexico City. A game that dealt with the high crime rate, the smog, corrupted politicians, the rampant piracy (pirated copies of software, music being sold in plain daylight).
