@Chronixal: Yeah, I could get it either on PS3 or 360, but I would be saving around $30 by buying it on PC (console games are $80-90 here), not to mention that I feel like boycotting EA by not buying any of their games after this.

@pallanti: Can't go wrong with either. The physics, controls, aiming all feel the same!

@ZFK: I don't hate the game (I even rent it to play through the campaing), but I'm not big on multiplayer either. Perhaps I'm adverse to the idea of realistic-looking soldiers constantly killing each other, but that doesn't explain my similar distaste for the Halo series.

@Andsy: I consider Ys: The Oath in Felghana more of an action/adventure with RPG elements but it's one of the best PSP games ever.

@Trim Dougherty: How's the framerate? The console versions ran at a respectable solid 30fps but the PC versions could run as fast as your monitor refresh, which in most cases is 60 fps.

@dblade128: I'm guessing we'll be able to switch voices to japanese for the Capcom characters. Still, the english voice work for Zero is great, much better than previous attempts (Surfer dude Zero, whatamifightingfor Zero, ugh.), he is no Ryotaro Okiayu, though.

@HardRojo: X8 is pretty damn good, a far cry from the horrible, horrible X7. Even Axel is fun to use, but everytime I am reminded of it, oh god cliffhanger ending, arrrgghhh...

OMG Zero Yesss! I kick so much ass with Zero in Tatsunoko VS Capcom it's not even funny. now Put Strider Hiryu in there and I'll have the ultimate Capcom team (Zero/Strider/Spencer).

In Mortal Kombat's case, the story has to be interesting to compensate for the poor fighting flow. I've yet to see a western-made fighting game that is as good as japanese-developed ones.
