@Indie: Sounds like you have the option to dinamically adjust the brightness/contrast/whatever turned on.

@Stix1313: Exactly! they were pretty much traditional platformers at heart, (very well designed at that) but the art direction and sound design gave them their "magic". Who said graphics don't make a game?

Nooo! the magic words: Donkey Kong. I had loads of fun with the Donkey Kong Country Series, It makes me wish Nintendo go the "graphic whore" route just for one more game, and gives us another sidescrolling, pre-rendered masterpiece when their HD console comes.

@fernandosolano: I guess it depends on ones tastes. I for one don't care about Fallout 3 or computer RPGs in general, and Uncharted 2, while amazing, I didn't feel the urge to immediately play through it again.

@Mromson: Oh, but there are many reasons for that: 3rd world countries where you can't have the luxury of broadband because it is either expensive or simply not available, availability of suitable recordable media, people not knowing you can pirate everything from the net or people who think only l33t skilled hackers…

@grishnaar: Sadly it doesn't work that way, you can be using the modded console for an entire year without knowing it, then when the next yearly ban wave comes, surprise!

I was 9 years old when I beat that game. (twice!) I remember the coolest thing in that game was the "Class Change" where every character suddenly grew up and became badasses, also how I accidentaly found out that the Black Belt/Master owned almost anything with only his fists near the endgame, and the name Masamune…

What will they do if/when the next Assassin's creed is set in WWII or Desmond's time?

PSP version please, I still think the first Asphalt game was and still is the Nintendo DS's best racing game. The sequels didn't do much for me (be it on PSP/DS/Cellphone), this is looking good, but I don't have an iPhone.

Game is freaking incredible. No other game this year made me play for 7-10 hours long play sessions, other games I played for 2-3 hours straight at most. #assassinscreed2
