Also, I was much too young to watch the Alien burst out of John Hurts stomach when older neighbor kids had "Alien" on.

The Hotel Room destruction scene in "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". Not sure why but it REALLY bothered me to even imagine how people could make the room full of liquid and feces and stuff. There was a recklessness to it I just couldn't shake, even though I knew the characters were out of their minds on drugs.

It's really great. It's written by Carol Ann Harris, who was Lindsay's long term girlfriend from the release of Rumors to 1984, or just around the time Denis Wilson died. It focuses more on Lindsey than anyone else. I'd describe it as "Almost Famous" as if Martin Scorsese had directed it. In book form, of course.
