I found the whole thing aggressively mediocre. The songs were repetitive and yet somehow instantly forgettable and I don't think anyone involved (with the exception of John Legend) has the vocal talent required to star in a musical.

Am I the only one that thought La La Land was terrible? Like bad to the point I almost left the theatre.

I think Lars and the Real Girl was his best performance (it's definitely my favorite), but Half Nelson and Blue Valentine are also excellent.
