So this asshole is studying for a career in Law Enforcement?

I’m just glad she learned this lesson for a disease like rotavirus instead of something more dangerous or more likely to have long term effects!
It’s not only that, it’s that people don’t know how to critically evaluate the sources that they find. They think everything on the internet is true and if someone wrote something, it must be correct. Look at the damn source and THINK about it.
“I scoured everything I could possibly find about why vaccines might be harmful. I became pretty convinced.”
Well it’s a shame it took her whole family getting sick but it’s refreshing to hear an anti-vaxxer say “I was wrong, I was batshit, I’ve since researched and have changed my mind”.
I thought the same thing. And someone else pointed this out, but remember that cop in NYC that actually got in trouble for shooting someone in a stairwell? He was Asian. So, so far the only cops that have actually seen repercussions are an Asian man and a white woman.
I don’t want to defend this officer in any way, but it sure is surprising the swiftness with which this action has been taken, how quick the condemnation and disavowels came from her own force. Wonder if her being a woman has anything to do with it. The thin blue (male) line.
This is like Liang. She’s a woman so she gets sacrificed.
That’s true, but that’s why punching upward works and punching down doesn’t.
I don’t really see how he can get offended after saying “I heard you get sodomized quite often”. I mean, her initial comment about the demon was off-color, but no more off-color than the fact he chose to be in a scene that played a rape as comedy in the first place. And her response was, if anything, a de-escalation…
Gunning straight for that HR settlement no doubt. I read it more as a pop culture reference joke than a rape joke.
I feel no pity for this woman. Not once in the chat log was there anything alluding to rape, just the song. The rape portion of the song wasn’t even what they were joking about. The guy apologized MULTIPLE times, and yet she still felt the need to email Tim Cook (who by the way won’t read this petty crap anyways…
Basket of deplorables? You don’t say....
How great it must feel to do something charitable and have the credit go to your ex boyfriend.
There’s a lot of commenters on here that are praying for your demise. Just want to say there’s plenty of people that do not wish that in any way and that indeed support your decisions as a union. Ethics are incredibly important and the fact that mistakes have happened in the past does not mean you have to be doomed…
I kind of like this idea, except I want to point out that nobody ever says this about Woody Allen movies, and those are just meaningless romps about white people having age-inappropriate relationships. I’m not defending Parker or his film, just pointing out the double standard.
You know how Fox could solve this whole thing? Give the movie away.
I feel bad that OBJ was dragged into all of Lena Dunham’s unnecessary drama. He really seems like a sweet dude who just wants to live his life and enjoy his Instagram.
He isn’t a fashion designer. He's like that friend who bought a rug and a lamp and got a lot of compliments and now she's an interior decorator. There’s nothing visionary about beige and brown leotards and cream-colored sweater dresses. He just has really gross ideas about presenting women and using them ornamentally.…
I wish men would stop saying this. We don’t have value because of our relationships with men - we are people with worth no matter whether we’re related to you or not. Instead of thinking, “what if this happened to my wife/sister/mother/daughter” try thinking “what if this happened to me.” Because that is what we think…
