Barbarian was very unusual. I’m not sure that it worked but it was interesting to see a film try a Psycho-style change in structure.

Gosh I loved this movie. From the first trailer I knew I had to go check this out in the theater before anything was spoiled for me and what a treat that was!

Why shouldn’t they celebrate?

I feel like if you’re a famous person, and you somehow don’t derail your career with a altercation where you attack your kid and hurt your famous wife, maybe you just have to accept that some shit might happen regarding your jointly-owned winery that you don’t like.

The article’s implication that Armor Wars being changed from a tv show to a theatrical release is a sign of trouble with the project is . . . strange.

I hope this doesn’t awaken something in me.

Robert Pickton would be a start.

It’s like, acting’s bullshit, right? Like, at the end of the day, it’s all about fucking bullshit.”

This is based on Paul Tremblay’s novel, Cabin At The End of The World, right?

It’s really weird the trailer doesn’t give any credit to the book it’s based on. Or the article, really.  Cabin at the End of the World, it’s very upsetting.

“Him. I choose him.”

Could not disagree more.  Those CGI effects never look good.  Recasting was the way to go.

I don’t get why people were so personally angry about the Marvel thing. He was asked and gave his opinion about it.

If it WAS free on YouTube instead of a paying screening at TIFF, this would’ve been fine.

They drive by a spooky looking truck which startles them and then later he spots it pulled over with the driver dumping what look like bodies into a hole, so of course once the truck leaves he has to investigate, and well, curiosity gets the cat.
