That image of the monkeys defending her from captors breaks my heart. The poor monkeys must be heartbroken.

Also, the rally in Burlington, Vermont, January 8, 2016, with frigid temperatures outdoors. He addressed security directly:
I’ll just say Brand is acting in plain contradiction of AA Traditions, and I think that is unwise. It’s a basic premise of the program. The 11th Tradition: “Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, and films.” No…
He is the biggest asshat! I cannot understand his appeal at all.
This revelation is completely contrary to AA traditions! Very sucky! Shame on you.
The Stand, one of the original post-apocalyptic visions.
I once knew a guy with a plate that said BLIND.
“DUMBO” was in use in the early 80's, at which time it was a name meant to ironically ridicule the spread of neighborhood nicknames, such as the new-fangled “NoHo.”
Also, “makers.” That one steams me.
It’s simply ungrammatical. “Female” is an adjective. “Woman” is a noun. It’s dehumanizing that the person can’t be bothered to say *what* is female.
Oh. no. He’s new money. Mrs. Astor’s 400 Ball was in 1892, which even then was meant to separate the old from the parvenus. Trump will always be an arriviste from Queens.

You are talking about a quite small percentage of actual Sanders supporters. The “Stein voter” grudge trope is hyperbole. The vast majority of Sanders supporters voted for HRC, and it is sickening to be painted with broad brushes by derogatory, condescending and simplistic insults.
That is very courteous thinking, especially in consideration of someone in early recovery; but speaking as a person with long-term recovery, I would be horrified if people were refraining from social drinking because of me. Please! Enjoy! Most of the people I know with good recovery feel exactly the same.
Just FYI, when a person has a successful, stable recovery from alcoholic drinking, it is no problem whatsoever when other people drink in front of them.

He means “not aristocracy.” Class and wealth are not interchangeable in England, as in the US. You can be aristocracy (from a titled family) and be impoverished. The fact that Kate Middleton was accepted into the Royal family is a sign of an erosion of this divide, but traditionally wealthy merchants and manufacturers…
He appears to be outright lying when he accosts random strangers and says, “Excuse me, I don’t usually do this.” What could be the problem?
