Aid is not bad all of it’s own, the strings attached to that aid is what is detrimental. If it is distributed in cooperation with the people and country receiving it then there will be good outcomes.

Thanks for the information regarding how you schooling was. I’ve a little about the fenomena of home schooling in the states, that coupled with what you write about baffles me.

Of course you forget lots of stuff your learned in school (don’t ask me to do algebra) but the level of misinformation is atrocious and frankly dangerous. Not knowing the basics of how you country is governed and who are governing it is how you lose democracy.

But even I know that’s these things are to be taught at elementary/high school level, and i’m not even American...
