The game can definitely be played and beaten the “normal JRPG” way (both my brother and I finished the OG version without the grinding nonsense)

Anyone who just wants the exact same game as the original but with better graphics probably loves the Gus Van Sant remake of Psycho.

Exactly. Copying the original source material bear for beat gets you the Psycho remake with Vince Vaughan...ugh.

If the long rumored Nirvana biopic ever comes to fruition Daniel Webber should be given serious consideration for the Kurt Cobain role. The resemblance (particular ly in the later scenes of The Dirt) is startling.

Glad this remaster is now official! FFXII is the only (main) Final Fantasy game I’ve never completed - got stuck in one area and was then sidetracked by other games. Better late than never...
