Euro Truck Simulator has great support for wheels (I play it on my Fanatec CSR setup all the time), so it’d be really surprising for the followup that seems to be based on the same engine to not have them.

The Nissan VQ engine seems like a logical successor to me. It’s not a direct descendant but it’s a good modern motor that replaced the PSA ES motor in a lot of Renault applications (which itself replaced the PRV).

I’d bet that there’s a strong overlap between the people who believe in astrology and the people who buy in to fad diets. This could be quite a profitable idea.

Just an example, and someone still might want more space or an auxiliary fuel tank.

When you ignore the Wildtrak-specific “roll bar” on the Ranger the only notably unique one is the Fiat/Ram, which is more of a “Ute” than a pickup (it’s based on the Fiat Palio, which seems to be a Fiesta competitor).

Tool boxes only care about the width between the sides and that the surface is basically flat.

You’re right of course, but I’m not sure how that’s necessarily a problem. Trucks are supposed to be functional vehicles, and as the saying goes form follows function. There’s only so much that can be done without compromising its ability to do what people expect of a truck.

I think you’ve just stumbled upon how to make autonomous car racing more interesting.

Take another step with your thought process there...

Since full power would rarely be needed I figured I’d save weight by avoiding the batteries entirely and just going train-style with the ICE running a generator which runs the wheel motors. I’d definitely make sure it was capable of delivering standard 120/240vAC as well when parked for campsite use.

My thoughts exactly, and definitely on my short list if I happen to be the luckiest person on the planet tomorrow night. An efficient but light diesel engine like a TDI (note I said efficient, not low-emissions) hooked to a generator and some high-torque wheel motors. Maybe add some big capacitors to allow for short

I definitely expect this will end up as a minigame in the multiplayer mod. It’s generally relatively easy to script those to spawn items in a certain way, so creating the tower will be presumably automatic in that case.

I was literally warming up my credit card to place an order on this, but they don’t offer any >8GB RAM options. That’s insane. 8GB is a minimum for gaming these days, what’s the point of having an external GPU if every game’s going to be choking from swapping?

I can’t find it right now, but I recall seeing some developer did a more detailed breakdown of their piracy stats which showed that while they did have a lot more piracy on Android, it was mostly on devices that did not have Play Store access in the first place due to being cheap garbage and/or in countries where the

Exactly what I was thinking, two or three semis with drivers who were out of fucks to give would have been wonderful here.

I think Mazda already has that look trademarked :P

Middle-age upper class wives love that shit.
