An all volunteer force + an additional force made up of drafted soldiers is greater than an all volunteer force.

Jury duty: people that don’t want to be there don’t make for very thoughtful jurors. Now go forth and fight to end jury duty (I realize you won’t).

We had a draft during WWII, so was stopping the Holocaust and the spread of a fascist regime across Europe not worth it in your mind? Or do you think the draft just wasn’t necessary because we already had a sufficient number of volunteers to win the war?

Man, you’d be great at running a government. Take your logic and ask yourself, how would our justice system work if everyone that got picked for jury duty had the option to just say, “Nah, don’t wanna.”
