In other words, maple trees winterize themselves by pumping antifreeze. And we eat that.

I don't think that stereo isomers would be a problem.

I respect your personal opinion, but the vast majority of the U.S. public dislikes dollar coins. The government has tried many times to encourage use of the things, but they have always failed. There are warehouses full of U.S. dollar coins that nobody wants.

I have three fur children. My daughter who lives with me has two. I feed three neighborhood ferals. And I have buried the fur suits of many children of Bast who have passed on.

I was just waiting for you to post! Thank Bast for your reviving my faith!

You got it!

So, we should kill all the golfers?

I have heard attributed to Bill the quote "nobody wants to watch a bunch of old farts chase ghosts."

I agree with much of what you said, but I think that you focus too much on the houses thing. From that original paragraph, I get: Bill is rich now and doesn't need the money; he'll do it if it excites him. And an attempt at humor: Bill is into living it up and not into death/ghosts.

Kinda reminds me of when Apple code-named the Power Macintosh 7100 "Carl Sagan" in the hope that Apple would make "billions and billions". Sagan sent Apple a cease-and-desist, so they changed the code-name to "BHA" for "Butt-Head Astronomer".

Both came to the conclusion "no", basically because humans were created in the image of god, they were given immortal souls, and when they go to heaven

"Unfortunately, Enterprise made nods towards the style of gritty space opera, but failed to capture much of the substance."

For the "western in space" tone, yep.

I thought the same thing. Since when is a couple of typos reason to get all upset. Check with other sites before you buy!

I also use old drier sheets as dust filters, taped over air intakes. Cheap, effective!

I don't see the WiFi either. The "B" model has wired Ethernet - and 256MB RAM.

Yeah, the problem with telomerase is that telomers seem to function as a count-down clock, shutting off the replication of cells that are so old that they are probably damaged. Turn off that clock and damaged cells can reproduce to cause cancer.
