"machines can give you a free game, so that could be considered gambling."

@SeƱor Cagon: Right. He's not doing it because he has to, but just to show it can be done.

@Panzercat: To be specific, Red Kryptonite flavored gum. It has unpredictable effects on Kryptonians that typically last for 24-48 hours.

@tenazrael: See how that works, my friend?

@Zonky: Actually, it is useful.

@Glitchigo: I'm glad that I could brighten your day! Now changing screen name back to "Wolfstone".

@Antonio Lovemaker: Once again, you confuse the tool with one possible use of it.

@Antonio Lovemaker: Firearm accidents account for only .8% of accidental deaths in the U.S. Your chances of dying from a botched medical procedure are four times higher.

@tenazrael: I'm on your side, but degenerating into profanity won't win the hearts and minds of those who don't know any better.

@I see the light. It burns!: Actually, 3D doesn't work as well on small sets. I have seen discussion threads where they say that 50" is about the minimum screen size for good 3D effect.

@2010-Camaro: Don't do the buyer's regret thing, dude!

@twilight-arc: I bought a 50-inch Samsung plasma a few months ago, their top of the line. It doesn't really get hot, and the colors are incredible. Glad I did it. (The 3D capability is just a bonus.)

@CaptainJack: Agreed on all points - 3D premium is small; in a few years 3D will be standard; and the glasses cost too much.

@cassiebearRAWR: You are right that the glasses are currently expensive and not standardized between brands.

@The Lab: Agreed! As I was reading the article, I wondered why this belonged on Gizmodo, but when I hit that line, it just went too far.

@pinshot: It might stop local cops, who unplug the machine and take it to the station. But any serious law enforcement organization will go in with portable power units, forensic docks, etc.
