Preaching to the choir here. :) I just provided the jpg because it was initially missing from the article.

You're welcome.

Here you go:

Wow. I want to read the follow up story on this, about how a guy with some drawing skills and 25 pieces of wood was able to make all kinds of money.

This is an awesome article. Love it. I remember trying to sneak in some makeout sessions with my girlfriend (we were both 15), and having to do it behind her parents back because she wasn't allowed to date. So there was no such thing as texting or FBing her - we have to arrange it, and if she didn't show up at

Oh yes. Back then the phone book was our biggest friend....and biggest nemesis. No one wanted to have to pull out that big thick book to look up a number so....you're right. We learned to memorize them.

(Yeah, me included). I was around when BBSes were in vogue, and remember when they first opened up a unix shell on the internet for us to play in. Pico, Vi and ....what was the name of that menu they gave us to make it easier? Can't recall...

God. In reading all of these stories, it occurs to me there are a lot of old people here on giz.

@mr_switzerland: No kidding. For the 8 bucks I pay here in Toronto, I get instant access to all kinds of useless slop that never made it to the theatre.

Not sure, but I think crack might be cheaper.

Got to appreciate his honesty. That kind of transparency ensures that customers will take a close look when the final product comes out.

No thoughts on increased storage? 64 GB is nice, but 128 would be...uh, nicer.

@pismosi: That hasn't changed. The invitations are out there. Stay tuned. As @Gothamite88 says, it's about the iPad.

Yup. When I hear "rights" I translate that to "lawyers". :)

@David Desonia: Also: even when you open it up during the day and have already downloaded content, it sometimes appears to be wanting to re-download it again. Which isn't a deal-breaker when you're in a wifi place, but on 3G? Not so good for those of us who are impatient.

@Bramsey89: Have to agree with @Frumpkin. I've been using it almost since the start, and still find that other national newspapers have better content.

Amazing. Entertainment and commerce has for the most part spread to the "global village". Yet gems like this remains stuck within the borders of the U.S.

At least if they've been watching some of these other devices, they will have hopefully gotten some important clues. Here's hoping we're not in for a few more years of "please give us cut-and-paste" nonsense.

Jason? Dude this is a great article but...it's coming in after all of the coding has been done. Wonder how many geniuses at Apple are banging their heads right now?
