@jchen1: Nah. I'm good. I have an iPad. ;)

@sonicage: You know what? You're probably right. :) Her stuff needed to be protected. And stuff.
Something about BS opportunists and the way this guy talks reminds me of someone....
At least the thief had to work for it.
This resolves one of mankind's greatest mysteries.
@d00d123: No flames from me, for sure. Because you're right. I picture a future without Jobs, and I see Apple computers as proliferous and as common place as Dells, HPs and other flavourless brands out there.
@geolemon: I disagree. I think it's exactly that obsessive approach that he employs that makes Apple products stand out from the rest. Granted, it's a little frustrating when innovation seems to take a back seat to durability.....when you know there are better features to be had (we all remember the cut-and-paste…
@FrankenPC: MAME32 on the iPad?? Thought that was just for PC
I want a clean connection - or at least as clean as I can get it. And this means locking down my wifi. Why should it take me more time to pull up a simple web page because a neighbour is pulling down the complete season of "Lost" at the same time? Doesn't make sense.
Sedation would work better. At least for me. Being completely out would be optimum.
@tbonesteak: I'm pretty sure Twinkies last forever. Like McDonald fries.
Wait. Their *entire* library of games?
@casiodorus: Brilliant testimony. Your final paragraph provides the exclamation point necessary: I think most people who commit suicide are convinced that they're alone, and that no one can possibly understand them, because no one has ever had the same experience.
@xsbs: The sad thing is, you're right - but there was just no way for him to be able to begin to process everything rationally and logically. It's sort of like telling a blind man to just try harder to see the light. His tortured self-loathing, self-doubt and inability to trust anyone closed most or all of the doors…
@youbastid: you're right, of course. A psychiatrist mentioned that they are required to report the name of the abuser, if it came out in session. Bill was worried that, with the revelation of his abuser, his own name would somehow get out as well - as is often happens once the media gets hold of it. I picture Bill…
Bill brought up a valid point about why he chose not to share his childhood torture with a medical professional. In some states (and certainly here in Canada), mental health professionals ARE required by law to talk to police about abusers. If they don't, and it's found out later, they themselves are charged. So he…
Only one question (which I'm sure will be repeated time and again): when is Pandora coming to Canada?
@zensflare: Only while you're connected to Hotspot. Once you disconnect, the ads go away. I've had Hotspot for at least a year or so - great for when you want to go to hulu and places liek that.
@andlewis001: Tried that. Didn't work.
@Fekdep: according to the realtor listing, yes. [www.realtor.com]
