@Platypus Man: Not true. Both private and public employers are right into Web 2.0, and this includes (unfortunately) Facebook.

@talithaghetto: I *KNOW!* I counted 96 fat guys and four women who were big-boned.

@Voltswagon: Oh agreed. It can be a bit tricky. Fortunately, I can work from home on occasion (since all my work is virtual anyway) so it's not an issue. I can see where it would be for others though.

I long ago copied my own CDs to my iTunes collection (as I suspect many others have). This is a zero event for a lot of us, I think.

@Odin: I think you're one of the lucky ones then. Royal Post, Canada Post and the USPS need to have a blanket policy, because not all apartments, flats and houses are as secure as yours.

@Cintax: Man, I'd have been ballistic as well. You know, I admit: I'm kind of like a dog with a bone when it comes to this crap. It's worth it to complain as high up the ladder as you can go when this happens. Sometimes there is compensation, and often there's a half-hearted apology.

@tekdemon: See - that's the thing: these guys have no idea what they're leaving behind (although an air conditioner should be fairly obvious, if only by its weight alone). So for them to even leave a small package out in the open strikes me as irresponsible. It could be a high value item (and I've had $500 items

@Billy: The mail guy has on occasion tried to deliver a package that wouldn't fit in the mailbox (Toronto). When that happens, he generally leaves a form, indicating that I should go pick it up at the nearest postal outlet. I was pretty sure that was standard practice.

Besides the obvious stupidity of the whole situation, has anyone noticed another problem here?

@dicknasty: They did that deliberately. It's a play on words.

Aweditorium is the *best*. For those who are addicted to the search for music, this is musical heroin.

Look at me. I'm a doofus.

A question for all those who are trying this out, as I am: if you like it, will you use it exclusively? Can you see it being used exclusively? Or will you keep your copy of Firefox/Chrome/whatever around for *real* browsing?

@Habs: I am *SO* renaming my girlfriend's little poodle this. "Come here Meatball Sunfist. Oh whoo's a little meatball?"

Meh. Not that impressive (once you see the inside of the thing). It's just a big room filled with floor mats.

@S.T.R.: +1 (At least he got to listen to Celine before it fizzed out)

@wolfshades: Too late to edit this. I meant the NY Post.

@JustMeJosh: You're right. I kept saying NY Times when it's clearly the Post. I don't know if it's known to have produced untrue stories, as the Sun has.

@ohnoitsaspider: You're right - can't believe I kept saying NY Times. I don't know enough about the Post, frankly. Is it known to post untrue stories, as I'm guessing the Sun does?

@Inphoarius: I was actually referencing more of the outrage found in the comments, than the story itself. The fact that western society holds particular - though illogical - contempt for those who might harm animals that we consider pets is a characteristic of our society that is curious. You and I might understand
