@Matthew Weflen: and +1 for this accurate comment about an oh-so-irritating misuse of expressions.
@abcdefghijkatie: I would love to get rid of my Facebook. But I have several close family members who live on the far side of the country who only converse via that vehicle. Facebook is the new email for some. (Mind you, I keep my list of "friends" on there *very* low - often rejecting more people who want to…
Forget about the grid. That whole deserted island experience is

@mosesmalone: I was with you right up until the second line of the second paragraph up there. The average person *can't* do what they did on the subway without having at least some talent. Any visit to your local karaoke bar will prove that, I think.
@Hooray4Zoidberg: I like this idea.
@johnnyabnormal: Ok this is *awesome*. (Especially the "Let's Get Retarded" Live Support graphic)
@Dabamasha: A V-chip is a technology that allows parents to limit what their kids can see on TV. This technology is no different. It's called "parental controls" not "consenting adult controls" and is managed by individuals who own them, not Apple.

@brijazz: Count me in on this as well. Parental control doesn't equal Apple control.
@chiflipgrl: Ditto the bedbugs.
{8-O} Is the elevator OK?

Picture it: a nationwide teleconference.
@saltboy: What? I don't know that. Auuuuuuuugh!
@Psychonaut: Your negativity interferes with my pessimism: You may have a point about the slippery slope here (actually I really do think you have a good point) but......don't you think it's better to know about it before it gets out there? I'd rather not bury my hand in the sand on this one.
@njdevil: Good one! "No way - you're going to put that loop around my neck over my dead body, bub!"
@cdevlin: Agreed. They shouldn't execute criminals because, hey! Maybe they were just kidding and didn't mean to kill any children.
Win95 - bringing Solitaire to millions of bored cube farms everywhere. (I forget - was the game available in Win 3.1 or 3.0?)
