That and the fish out of water aspect of Iron Fist returning to a city he hasn’t seen since he was a child. So you have the “rich white boy” running around gaping at the changes to the city alongside Luke.

Sorry, but I watched two seasons of Agents of Shield and it doesn’t do anything for me. Carter has all the intrigue, great acting, and set pieces I want to see. AOS doesn’t compare favorably. I think half the audience watches just because there is a possibility that the movies will crossover with it.
When I saw the Special Editions in the Theater I was crushed at the changes Lucas had made. I didn’t think I could be any more disappointed.
If they need more money I’m okay with them cancelling Agents of Shield so I can have more Agent Carter.
I think the problem develops where the editor is a fan. I always wonder why books start out “tight” and then as the series keeps going the books are larger and larger.
When puns grow tiresome it usually means you’ve grown up. Not always, some adults love a good pun.
I agree with you, too often “EPIC” fantasy means super long series. That isn’t what it should mean. Epic doesn’t need to mean endless series of books, Lord of the Rings is an Epic and it was one book (which was then cut into 3 parts).
Completely agree, I hit book 5 (I think it was) where it felt like all they did is argue about what they should do for the length of the book. I was done, very little happened and character development slowed to a crawl. At that point I figured nothing would happen until book 12 and I didn’t care enough.
Of all the superhero movies coming out Suicide Squad really should be an R Rated project. It and Deadpool are the clear “R” materials that are being adapted right now
At least they were part of the foreign legion IIRC instead of supposedly being Egyptian.
SO if the wife likes Deadpool perhaps he should ask her what she liked about it? That usually is a better choice instead of asking the Postman to make recommendations. And just because she is female doesn’t mean you should only recommend female centric comics. If she likes the ultra-violent absurdity of Deadpool there…
I’m obviously dead inside because all of this just seems so typical to me. Where’s the unusual, oddball, really actually different, boundary pushing science fiction/fantasy?
I’d much rather have a sequel where these women find/inherit/steal/whatever the original ghostbusting equipment or open a Ghostbuster’s Franchise in another city.
That last photo Supes has a poop that needs to come out... “Holy constipation, Batman! Fetch me the Super-duper fiber!”
That’s okay, I don’t know why people watch the walking dead. <shrug>
Well, izombie sounds horrible so if it’s “as good as it sounds” then I’m glad I’ve not tuned in. Otherwise there are some shows I need to check for on Netflix.
I know I09 loves hyperbole but there were no miracles in The Expanse, it was a boring show that I lasted 3 episodes waiting for something to happen and got tired of quickly.
<Shrug> It was funny rarely in the beginning, but what do you expect out of a 22 minute sitcom?
I completely disagree, I’m enjoying this season more than season 1. Season 1 was typical and, though it had great moments, played it safe.
My only question is whether there is a trophy for completion of 100% of the puzzles and whether these puzzles count toward it. I’m not a completionist but I know a lot of people who are serious about getting every trophy.
