Actually, I thought Magneto was trying to murder every single non-mutant in the comics - wasn't that what he was threatening to do when he had that orbiting station back in the 90's? I can't remember.

Wasn't Paul Bettany announced as the Vision? Or did I just dream that?

I seem to recall that Hulk is rampaging through South Africa which may or may not be standing in for Wakanda.

Yeah, the argument is probably about why did Tony build a Hulkbuster suit. How would you feel if your best buddy built a suit just for beating you?

I would rather have Marvel make the attempt than watch Fox make bad movie (The Wolverine) after bad movie (X-men Origins: Wolverine) after bad movie (X3). The latest Wolverine movie was better than the first one but that isn't saying much. From the beginning (the animatronic bear or magic ginzu katana scene take your

I really hope you are wrong, I would hate for such a divisive character to transition into the movies.

I want to see Storm with a mohawk as leader of the Morlocks... I don't see Berry pulling off that look...

Wait! What you are saying is that Marvel's Agents of Shield is once again disappointing fans?

I hope she is able to drink free for a year off this... I can't stand people who do that, worst part is they often think they are doing the person a favor.

Put me in the minority that wants a Scarjo Black Widow movie before a Captain/Ms Marvel movie. I've never been a capt/ms marvel fan - the best thing that ever happened was when Rogue stole her powers.
What does Marvel own the rights to in terms of female characters? They have Widow, She-Hulk, Ms Marvel, Wasp, and?

Dang, I forgot to even think about Prometheus. If we include that with all the Alien movies then there is no way that Alien wins over Firefly, essentially Alien loses for have 3 bad prequel/sequels.

I really doubt Martin's story can have a satisfying ending. I fear that he will die with it uncompleted (as with Jordan or as it almost happened with King) and even if he finishes it that it will be a contrived conclusion. The longer a series continues the higher the chance that the ending won't satisfy the fans. It

Yeah, I understand being a fan of something and wanting it to succeed but I can't in good conscience vote Firefly over Star Trek. Star Trek is too much of a bellwether

Because I've never touched the Avatar stuff while I grew up on A Wrinkle in Time. I am sure I am not alone in that. Unfortunately for Avatar a terrible movie was made by Shame-on-him and it killed any curiosity I may have held for the material.

I'm a Firefly fan and I would still go Star Trek over it. ST has too much cultural impact from Original all the way to JJ Trek for it to be beat by the short lived fun that was Firefly.

Same, no chance whatsoever but I had to do it.

I went Firefly - Alien 1 is not scary, Alien 2 is a good action flick, Alien 3 is dumb, Alien 4 is even more dumb. If this was Firefly versus Alien 2 (or Aliens if you prefer) I would have a harder time with it. But the 3rd and 4th movies are awful and the first one is a good cure for insomnia.

I will easily vote Firefly instead of Alien. I fell asleep the first time I saw Alien, it wasn't scary and it was obvious that Ripley would survive.

It is actually really tough to fight a movie/book that both were well done (Princess Bride) with a very uneven and large book series (WOT), some of those books were good while some were just filler placeholders that didn't do much to advance the plot. My memories of WOT were of scenes I found epic followed by chapters

I tried Consider Phlebas and also didn't finish, but since so many people had recommended the series to me I went and hunted down one of the first books and tried it... With the same result (and no I can't be bothered to remember which one). Just can't get into those books for some reason <shrug> That said I don't
