Yeah, I got really tired of killing the same creatures/people over and over and over again in the same place... Borderlands was the ultimate example of how gamers are willing to perform the same task repeatedly if there is a slim chance of a different reward (a weapon with a slight tweak compared to the previously

He seems to want everyone to know there isn't a direct connection to the Alien movie, yet there are a slew of them (Weyland, the planet, the alien ship). I get that this isn't supposed to lead directly into Alien but that doesn't make this somehow not a prequel.

Let me preface this by saying I know this is Morning Spoilers and I am not complaining about the fact that you report spoilers...

Agreed...I think I am too nice because I blame EA for this instead of Bioware. Bioware took more time on their games before being purchased by EA - at least that is what I want to believe (2-3 years between games). EA is big on a game a year as a business model. I would much rather wait for a game and have it come out

Here:

I suppose I was mixing up my points. We've had a deadly influenza outbreak that devastated population centers, we've seen the black death kill 1/3 of the European population. There is no reason to believe something of a similar nature won't happen again. What form it takes or when it occurs are the only real

Agreed...They over promised and under delivered, but at this point in gaming history if you don't expect that to happen to some extent then you haven't been paying attention. I can't think of a single game title that has delivered on everything that the developer has promised - Molyneux is infamous for making

Perfect and succinct way of putting it...Clue was a funny, well acted, movie with some really talented individuals playing the characters. Each ending was funny and made the movie fun to watch (and rewatch). The terrible game that is Mass Effect 3 removes all of my previous choices and has killed my desire to play any

Joss Whedon and Robert Downey Jr need to become the new Burton/Depp pairing...Whedon writes snarky so well and RDj delivers it perfectly, it really couldn't be a better match. That scene alone is worth watching the entire movie, hope that there is a lot more "Stark snark" in the rest of the Avengers.

Yeah, I am nervous...One of the things that kept me on the Bioware wagon even after they sold to EA was the hope that they would take their time making games. Obviously EA told them they needed to churn out games at a quicker clip and the quality has suffered.

Global Pandemic - because it has already happened in history, don't see why it couldn't happen again. And now we are making super bugs by using antibiotics and antibacterials for everything.

Bioware games were an unquestioned day of release purchase for me, I've played them since Baldur's Gate and been overall satisfied until now... I even bought Mass Effect 3 on PC and 360 because I liked the first two so much. I won't refuse to buy another one of their games, after all they are creating an Enhanced

Without seeing this I can't comment on it, but I can say that the way the game ended basically fulfilled the goal of the reapers. Destroying a Mass Relay destroys the system it is in (at least that is why Shep is grounded in the beginning of ME3) so how can anyone be alive in any of the civilized systems?

Characters, art, dialogue of DA2. A new inventory system since both have been terrible. And a variety of locations which are unique. At least make the story-required locations unique and I won't care if the miscellaneous side quests are somewhat repetitive. And make the npc/companion quests interesting and unique.

Make mine Jade Empire 2 I won't care what happens to any character from the Dragon Age series. Of course Jade Empire would have to be a brand new cast of characters set several if not hundreds of years after the first game.

I am so sick of Johnny Depp in makeup. He's made so many movies wearing crazy makeup it has nearly become its own genre.

What's it say when the top picture of a woman biting her lips is really getting me going?

Does every current gen shooter have to include the crab combo (slow moving dude with giant shield and pistol)?

I hope so...I loved that map. It was an utter kill fest.

As to MOAB vs Nuke. I was nuked constantly in MW2, I've seen the moab 4 times in MW3 (once for each day of play time I've logged). I would much rather see them take out the entire concept of a massive bomb attack, but if I had to choose I would much rather be hit by a MOAB
