I’ve had 2 so far: 15 GLK 250 and and ‘15 GL450... Both have been flawless

I’ll keep my Mercedes GL thank you. Not only is it not needlessly automated, it handles well, and since it's a Merc and not a Bimmer, it won't break.

I have a Merc GL450 and Volvo XC40 R-Design w/Polestar tune... The answer is a resounding NO!

BMW stopped caring about actual enthusiasts round about 2007 with the death of the E39 and E53...

I still have to wait 8 years to own one in the States... And I've been wanting one since about 4 years after they ceased production... Not too much longer...

NP all day. FJ Cruisers in this condition and mileage go for over $20K up here in Alaska... In fact, you rarely even find them for sale up here...they’re really good in the snow. For $13K, I could buy it, ship it, and sell it for a tidy little profit.

Mercedes key fobs from the last several years are gross violators of this. Both the GLK we used to have and our current GL constantly broadcast. Before we realized what was happening, we kept the keys in a cabinet near the garage. After the batteries died several times, moved the keys to the other side of the house.

The Renesis engine failed specifically due to the same issue that plagued the early NSU Ro80: tip seals that were too thin. Mazda had success with the early RX-series cars through to the RX-7 as the tip seals were all 2-3mm in thickness. Unfortunately, Mazda forgot why they had designed seals thicker than 1mm and that

Come on Tracy, you suggest Checker but then don’t offer up the fact their most popular model was the Marathon (yes, they built more than one iconic car) nor that it was in fact offered for sale to the general public as well...in both sedan, station wagon and ultimo-wagon configuration as the Aerobus...available in

Now I'm officially embarrassed to be a Mercedes-Benz owner...

Just because you were a soldier in the Wehrmach driving a Type 82, essentially the German Jeep, did not make you a Nazi.

So, I think Porsche should be put into his own context as an engineer who signed on to get access to a crap load of funding to go after his projects. A man who was blinded by both his ambition and talent and couldn’t see beyond the money being thrown at him and what it meant, but realized after the war what the Nazi

Ahh, the EcoDork. So, funny story. I live in Anchorage, AK, and when the rental companies get new vehicles, they drive them to their main lot/centers from the Port of Anchorage on the north side of the city. I was driving home one afternoon along C Street (one of the biggest avenues in the city) and there was a group

Yeah, I went on Barton’s website, and sure enough, anything that said Volvo on it is verboten now. Thusly I went on eBay and bought a brand new, discontinued, prancing moose keychain in nickel with blue moose...to match our new XC40 R-Design Polestar! (in bursting blue)

Except the Prancing Moose is authorized and embraced by Volvo

Here’s an idea: go to 49th State Brewery in Healy, AK just north of Denali. There you can play with an exact replica of the infamous bus that was made for the movie. Bonus: don’t have to cross a river to get to it. Added bonus: can snag a delicious beer at the same time.

I’m calling BS on the fuel economy lawsuit. My 2016 F150 with 5.0 V8 consistently exceeds its EPA ratings by 2-4 mpg. Currently it averages 18 mpg city and will hit 24 highway...and I’m not easy on it.

The VERY rare Inca Aztec wheels alone are worth the price of the car... NP all day for this nice 900 EMS

I know... He didn't join BMW until after the E21 was designed... After designing the original Audi 100

Because Claus Luthe... Look him up.
