Wilsgaard is rolling in his grave at this point
Apparently not the best felons though since they keep getting caught
I don’t know how anyone could think a Jan Wilsgaard design is boring (Amazon, 140/240 series, 740 and 850), especially the last car he designed before moving on to management and retiring. The 850 was a great car...I still want one...
People said it, you know, everyone's saying it.
I’m in the military. I did not ask him to run, nor did anyone I work with. In fact he has damaged relations with key allies which has put us in a very dangerous position. Also, no weapons system has failed due to Chinese steel or aluminum, ever... Put your tinfoil hat back on please.
These companies won't leave. Unlike the Trump administration and the Republican party at large, automotive companies plan for the long term and understand that this bum will be out of office eventually and normalcy will return.
I guess this is all because the Chinese government is going to be paying those tariffs...
Why is it a mystery that GM would follow up the XLR and have a counterpart to the Corvette? There's precedent for this and the XLR got a cooler suspension than the Vette last time, so a competitor to say the Mercedes SL or even the AMG GT is not out of the question...I can't wait to see this thing!
O Россия! Usually the public transport drivers are decent, I imagine this particular bus driver will end up being prosecuted... If he survived (Если он прожил...)
Hey! My ‘16 has the venerable Coyote 5.0, a much better engine than the 3.5 Ecoboost (and makes beautiful V8 noises)
Must’ve been the mechanical refresh ofthe JK that received the 5G as both my 2010 JKs had a grumpy 4-speed auto. It was stout and reliable, but man if that thing didn't want to shift when you wanted it to
Yeah, Mercedes are not BMW or Audi products...
So we’ve got a 2015 X166 GL450 with the twin turbo gas V6. These things are built like a tank, unlike anything from the BMW lineup. This generation of the GL (X166) and its predecessor the X164 are actually known for their reliability.
Guess the NICB doesn't care about Alaska or Hawaii...
The first cars powered by internal combustion were not in fact the Benz Patentwagen. An Austrian named Sigfried Marcus beat Benz to that by over 20 years. In fact, he was manufacturing what we would call a modern automobile 10 years before Karl Benz. Something about him being a Jew had him largely erased from German…
At 43,000 miles, this particular E71 is very close to having its transmission start to fail. This particular gearbox is know for slipping clutch packs around 60,000 which, as a BMW product, requires the transmission to be replaced. Also, it is a prime candidate for the transfer case to fail soon as well...something…
Well, don't move up here to Alaska... Had a rather fat brown bear walk under the camera by my back door over the weekend...
Also a recovering E70 owner here. Had a CPO ‘11 X5d which had 42K on it when I bought it. Thanks to C’thulu for that warranty as it was in the shop at least 3 months in the year I had it until I got fed up with its unreliability.
You guys are missing the real point: it’s not that these cars aren’t satisfying to drive, it’s that BMWs are not as reliable now as in the days of yor. Plastic engine internals that grenade, cars that fail as soon as full warranty period expire and nickel and diming by BMW dealers has turned a lot of people off…
