My salt tip is instead of buying popcorn salt, just put some table salt (or any salt, really) in a mortar and grind it down to a finer popcorn salt consistency. It takes about 10 seconds, and the finer salt gets distributed in and sticks to your popcorn much better. Read more

Once as I was going into Costco, someone was coming out with a purchase in either hand: a chain saw on a long collapsible pole (it’s for pruning trees) and half a gallon of generic Canadian whiskey. One can only hope that he used them in that order.
