Oh no we’re on the same page here. I think the real reason for the backlash all stems from LeBron changing the power dynamic between players and management. Players are not going to waste their prime years for for continually floundering GM’s with no real plans or talent.

He has been in the public eye since highschool and his only public misstep is changing jobs on TV at a pep rally. This is in the social media era and still nothing public and dumb. And now he’s finding his voice on things that really matter, all while being the most amazing player we’ve ever seen.
