For its time, the Citroën DS, no contest. For all time, either the latest Rolls-Royce Phantom or the Mercedes 600 Grosser (which licensed parts of the Citroën technology).

I will die on the Hill of Capri. The Capri’s run in the US coincided with the early to late 70's Mustangs which includes the really bloated 73 through the Mustang II years which saw Ford drastically downsize their cars and onto the beginning of the Fox bodies. Back in the day when I had my 76' Capri II with V6 and

Any car with a trans-mission or trans-axle, any car used for trans-portation, any cars made in June, and Chevrolets, because the name sounds French and frenchmen are nancy boys.

All the +1s to Skeffles for submitting the Willys Jeep.

By law you can boondock on BLM land if you follow the rules for dispersed camping, etc. It’s both easy and common.   It’s just that not everyone cares to boondock... which makes me happy because I rather enjoy boondocking.

I do love my travel trailer... but it’s a small one. It’s nice having everything you need in one place and being able to go where you want when you want. It’s nice driving in the middle of nowhere and stopping at a rest area for a nice meal and a nap. They have their drawbacks, but I have kids and hotels get pricey

A lot of people that poo poo on California also don’t realize just how much they contribute towards the US.

This is what people who complain about government/oversight/taxes don’t realize...you get something in return. People are like “I don’t get how you can live in Massachusetts with all those taxes”*. Which is fine if you don’t care about things like good schools, a strong social safety net, clean water, etc.

Oh man...This country constantly lays crimes committed by one person who’s a minority on everybody of that demographic. I have nephews and nieces of color and every time I see a national headline of some terrible crime, I find myself thinking “please don’t be black, please don’t be black.” Perfectly good kids who

There’s a few assumptions going on here.

That ‘thin blue line’ nonsense. Bad cops continue to hide behind it, and good cops don’t do their duty and keep their mouths shut, by not reporting the bad activities.  The day good cops file daily reports on bad cops is the day I’ll believe your statement.

Both can be true, and in this situation that is exactly the case.

yes yes it does.

This seems to be a massive overreaction to a misunderstanding, which is basically how you get innocent brown and black people shot dead by cops all the time. Between the tournament, traffic cops, closed roads, being dark, etc, I am sure he was just trying to get to the entrance. I can’t imagine he was blasting through

Look up the term logical fallacy my dude because you just did more than a few.

Whom did he put in “danger of very serious injury”? The cop jumped on his car; the car didn’t jump on the cop.

Upon further review, it looks more like a clear cut case of Scheffler doing exactly what he was told to do by tournament staff — show his badge, drive by the traffic and drive into the golfers’ entrance.

Because they are trained to be dramatic little scared bitches?

ACAB.

I am guessing the cop was over reacting. if for no other reason than acab.
