I don’t agree that a gun is worth having for home security in the city. I’ll assume that anyone who is entering my home knowing that I’m there is armed, and in that case running away is always the best option. In a house or apartment close enough to ground level there is always more than one exit.

To each his own, but I wouldn’t want to spend hours every month practicing with a gun just to slightly raise my survival odds in a confrontation that has nearly 0% chance of occurring in the first place; I’ll jump off the balcony and take the sprained ankle.

She was smart and savvy enough to help revive her husband’s career in a huge way so she’s not stupid; this is a case of letting success go to her head and becoming arrogant. You’re probably right. Maybe some really big royal controversy that even the Conservatives won’t be able to defend could be used as an opportunity. It would have to be something that really turns public opinion; low-key racism, accusations of pedophilia, and the costs of maintaining royal residences isn’t enough.
