This would be great. I support this suggestion.

Ahem.

Tasting glass necklaces are a serious must have. At GABF this year I had seen brewery reps making their own out of koozies and the lanyards they had to wear to display their credentials. Pretty ingenious.

These would’ve been awesome a couple of months ago, Will! Before some friends and I went to GABF for the first time in September. I knew it was going to be big, but had no idea what that was actually going to be like in person. Some additional tips...

Terrapin RecreationAle is a solid session IPA. I’d put that somewhere in the top 5 if I were to make a list like this.

The Down to Earth really is pretty good though. I’ve never really liked 21st Amendment so I had low expectations, but it’s solid.

Odds Simmons partners with North Korean state media for next venture?

I am making your baked bay scallops for dinner tonight. Thinking I'll probably serve with some sort of pasta.

Agreed. They're definitely one of the better ones in the PA beer scene, which is saying a lot considering how many good beers are brewed in PA. My parents live in the Lehigh Valley area and they usually have a few Troeg's in the fridge waiting for me when I come home to visit.

Nugget Nectar is the jam. Wishing Troeg's would expand further south. Would love to be able to get their stuff in GA.

Exactly. And there's nothing wrong with that. Especially with how much business they are doing. He likely just needs to come to terms with that role.

I really felt for Jim Koch after reading that article. His contributions to the industry are undeniable, but his inability to broaden his taste has obviously caused problems for Boston Brewing. Rebel IPA was a nice concession to changing tastes, and a pretty decent beer, but it came a bit too late.

Will, I was surprised that you didn't write more about the Twitter spat yesterday over your perceived lack of appreciation for The Craft Beer Industry. FWIW, I enjoy your columns because they don't all of this too seriously.

Price is my major gripe with Fegley's/Brew Works. I like their Always Sunny Pale and Hop Explosion IPA, but I'm not going to buy those over Victory or Troeg's when prices are comparable. They make a good product but, from what I recall, they were pricing themselves a bit too high.

Yes! I also want to know more about this!

They sell it in Eastern PA too.

My biggest pet peeve lately is when viewers of Game of Thrones (or other adapted shows) who have not read the source material actively seek out spoilers. Googling things like "Who killed XXXX" or heading to Reddit for answers. Because it's an adapted television show the answers are all out there, but why not just wait

I'm an Eagles fan living in Atlanta and on game days myself and a whole bunch of other transplanted Eastern PA people pack out a sports bar/pizza place to watch the game. Since we're all there to watch the same thing they put it on every TV in the place. You definitely get that communal vibe and after touchdowns we

Whose beard would win in a fight to the death: Jason's or Brett Keisel's?

Jason, big fan of both you and your beard. What's your secret? And tips for novice beard growers like myself?
