I cannot believe I slept on how incredible the Dora Milaje costumes are. I haven’t seen BP in a while. Just pure function and beauty. Costuming takes a close second to casting as the crown jewel of the MCU.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case either. He knew it was coming and might have wanted to leave the character with a goodbye on his own terms. And agreed on your last point - the image of him striking the ground at the end of the logo sequence in that vivid purple hue is so powerful. RIP.
