There is a huge difference between DEPOSITING a check at a bank (especially one you have an account at) and CASHING a $12K check at a bank that you do have no account with. As a regular practice, banks do not cash $12K checks if you don’t have an account with them.

Don’t bother with this one. You’ll never get a reasonable discussion out of them, just a lot of reheated Fox News bad takes.
