While the Court was right to rule as it did, the only thing worth celebrating is the fact that he did, in fact, serve two years in prison up to and beyond his first parole hearing, and nothing he can do will regain those two years for him.  Don’t be surprised if he follows this up with a 42 USC Section 1983 suit…

It’s an exceptionally challenging job and most of those shouting ACAB don’t have mental toughness to actually do the job. My friend became a police officer just last year and he’s already noticed how dealing with domestic violence, meth heads, and just general shitty people has affected his view of the world. 

Law enforcement continues to shit their pants any time someone does something even vaguely threatening.
