It’s not extra storage space. I have as much right to put my backpack in the overhead bin and some other guy has to put his suitcase up there.

If you do go to the French Quarter, I recommend skipping Cafe Du Monde. If you want beignets, go to Cafe Beignet on Bourbon Street. Sit in Musical Legends Park, eat your beignets, and listen to some good jazz music.

Can a landlord give permission for the police to enter a tenant’s house/apartment?

I agree with being a decent human beings to others, especially airline employees. My wife and I travelled around the holidays once. She brought a bag of chocolate and offered some to every airline employee she interacted with. They all appreciated the small act of kindness, even if they declined the chocolate.

That’s even more of an issue now that we have to pay extra for a seat assignment.

Last week my mom and aunt were talking about how decades ago they made formula starting with a base of evaporated milk. I don’t know what they added to it. I understand that it’s far from an ideal solution, but it beats starving.

The Costco membership can easily pay for itself if you consider them for purchases beyond groceries. My brother saved money by buy contracting his solar installation through Costco. A friend saved a decent amount by booking a vacation through Costco travel. My wife saved by ordering her contact lenses through Costco

I had a similar incident once when flying into San Diego. We were coming in for a landing as usual, and suddenly we pulled up and circled around. The second approach was fine. At the time I thought maybe were coming into too high (flying into San Diego requires flying over a hill with buildings on it that are fairly

I am a big fan of For Love of the Game. The movie seemed to get baseball right.

League of Their Own has one of my favorite movie quotes: “It’s supposed to be hard. If it was easy, everyone would do it. It’s the hard that makes it great.”

I agree. It depends on the person. When I go to the grocery store, I make a list of what I want/need. Then I look at the store app to see if there are coupons for any of these items. It may be worth it if you factor in savings on gas, and if you use their services, like Costco travel, optometry (My wife saves big on contact lenses.), the pharmacy, etc. For straight up groceries and clothes, probably not worth it.

I heard a basketball coach say basically the same thing about 30 years ago when asked about the Clippers head coaching job. If you want to be a head coach in a professional league, you have to take the job that’s open.

I always take the survey, and I have always given the CRS high marks. My frustration is with the company. It doesn’t help me to get a lower-level employee punished.

My wife and I got a couch that way from Wayfair. We noticed some light damage (scuffing) on the material. My wife told them we had no way to ship the large boxes back to them. They would have to arrange to have them picked up. They told us to keep the couch and gave us a full refund. I suspect it helped that we had a

You personally may want to help us, but your company wants whichever option gets them the most money. It’s not like I can call to cancel cable and have the rep say “Okay, you’re account is closed. We’re sorry to lose you.” Knowing this has worked for me. I’ve called to quit Sirius XM two years in a row. I keep saying

How we’re born means nothing. We’re all born illiterate. That doesn’t mean learning to read as we grow up is a bad thing. Just like growing up and accepting a faith isn’t a bad thing. The bad part comes when people use their faith to justify their treatment of others.

It’s quite possible that the people at this particular company don’t personally care one bit about who bares their nipple(s). They may simply being making a business decision.
