I think I read somewhere they have an 11,000 foot runway, so yes...
sorry but years ago some college friends as a prank put 4' of snow on my car, then we had a rain. so my car was encased in ice.
If it’s that cold I’d hope you have synthetic oil.
Your car made me think of another strange not-for-US Nissan running around town - the owner said there is 5-6 in the country?
I give you the mighty Nissan Figaro
It’s a shame that the late great Mark Donohue wasn’t around for your advice. When Porsche was developing the CanAm-conquering 917/30, they asked him how much horsepower he needed....
I can remember in the late 60s a friend buying a new 2000 and surprising MGB drivers by blowing the doors off them
I take it this is a pre ‘96 (OBD II)? If it isn’t I am surprised you wouldn’t get a check engine light and with a $20 scanner, a code.
Had a similar thinkg happen to my SL500 - 96 - on the way down the Oregon coast. Light comes on - I go to Wal Mart and buy a $20 scanner - #5 cylinder misfiring.
Figured it would be a…
When the nozzle didn’t fit should that have been the first clue?
I’ve seen leaked pictures of a mid engined Corvette since the 60s
Racing a Shelby Mustang. The car’s got spunk. Every car has a story.
The problem is with the idiot behind the wheel
They get to be on YouTube tho’
I doubt if it was to “save a few bucks” - either the wait time for a Model X is long or Daimler thought Tesla wouldn’t sell one to them? That should be easy to work around - have an employee front them - most likely a long wait?
Didn’t know they had sold their stake in Tesla. If the big automakers are becoming…
A few things I have learned along the way:
I have been to their factory twice - and am impressed with the Model S. But the Model X - with those hokey troublesome Gullwing doors - funny everyone since 1954 wants to copy the 300SL - and its doors were Gullwing because the tubular frame necessitated it.
That is odd. Companies regularly buy cars for disassembly but I never heard of renting a car and trashing it. I don’t think the Model X is all that great to begin with.
Nice sounds but I didn’t see any tunnel. Never would have guessed it was a 1980. More like a 1964 from the looks.
If he knew what the contract was (he did) and sold it anyway for a large profit (he did) that to me would indicate he needs money. If he didn’t need money and truely liked the car you would have thunk he would have contacted Ford first.
Heh. The owner is Chinese and very superstitious about these things. She left it exactly as is. I don’t think your friend would want a car that has just sat for 20 years anyway -
