If you really want to have fun with old R & T issues look at the classifieds. Best find I saw - in the late 60s - was a Cobra Daytona coupe (one of 6 made, of course) for $11,000.

“Sumbliminal Moto pulled up next to the passenger side to try and see what had upset the truck.”

The video only starts at the confrontation. We see nothing before or what caused it. Of course there is no excuse for pulling a gun on someone for being possibly obnoxious.

I am somewhat ambivalent on this.

Wouldn’t surprise me - it’s a small world!

Reminds me of a college friend’s Beetle back in 1968. This was a time when Beetles and 356's still roamed free and plentiful.

You have a Hummer that stays in the garage and an Aston that goes out in the snow?

You’d think that would hinder vision greatly but if the drivers like it what do I know :-) Amazing the safety that is already in an F1 chassis - hitting a wall at horrendous speeds that would severely injure or kill a driver in a typical street car, and the driver can walk away (if he’s lucky)

I think the fact that Edwards didn’t know the dash cam was working says a lot.

A bit of trivia - speed record holder Craig Breedlove was building a car to break the barrier when Andy Green got it first. He sold the car to Steve Fawcett and it was Fawcett’s attempt to find a suitable place in Nevada when he was killed in the mountains.

I have a friend who was a photographer for our newspaper. They have him a little Hyundai as a company car and as much as he tried to abuse it that thing wouldn’t die. You are right in that they were real crap when they first came here but judging by the number of these cars on the west coast people seem to have gotten

Good grief. He needs to get out more. And he set a pretty low bar for KIA.

Isn’t this door a marketing gimmick? Is there any real; benefit to having these?

“Tesla figures you can use this feature to get the car to back in and out of tight parking spaces.”

My business used to provide services for shops. I could write a book on what you just wrote. On parts too there are all kinds of quality levels which you mentioned and alternators are among the worst for “variety” - from a chain store cleaned-and spray painted with minimal new parts to (with some car makers)

I guess all their protests was good publicity for Uber. At first when I read this I thought it was the Uber drivers protesting as they did in San Francisco but it was the taxi drivers they are hurting. And if some of them are ripping off tourists good for Uber.

So what happened to the DB-10?

Funny they are still using the DB nomenclature - for a previous owner, David Brown who owned it from 1947-1972.

If you win this Powerball you can by VW and straighten them out

I believe, at least for 2016, that 4 cylinder was the base engine on the E Class. Give me a NA six every time.
