Blows my mind that in the USA, you almost need some sort of religion affiliation to be successful in politics. I’ll never understand that.

Tax exemption should be taken away from all churches.  They are in the business of selling their religion, and it is a business.

Well, technically, we can’t. It works because we know the time it takes to get from a known spot on the planet, then we calculate how long it takes to get to you compared to that known spot and do the math.

Or how about you are driving down the highway and you see a massive storm cell in the distance and you decide to maybe get off the road or take a different route. How far out do these cameras or LIDAR scan the horizon and what intuition might the systems have that perhaps there is some real danger ahead?
