You gotta learn to spot the “anything not explicitly pro-israel is anti-semitism” crowd. It’s a waste of time pointing out that there is actually no evidence to support their position.

Yes, the manager fucked up but what about the cop writing the warnings? Seriously? The receipts are likely timestamped and every grocery store I’ve been in over the past twenty some odd years has video surveillance of every register. You can review the tape and watch them buying the goddamned snacks. Where’s the

Why would there be?

You don’t have to pat him on the back, but I don’t see why you have to punch him in the stomach instead.

My question is, what are people arguing that Andy Samberg should have done? Like, do you want him to organize a march while hosting an awards show?

I do absolutely everything I can to avoid you “people”

It comes off as exceptionally ignorant IMO because there’s no way to determine if he said what he said for “cookies” or “props”, he was using his platform to speak out, and once again, is being told it wasn’t appreciated or good enough.

“As we all collectively channeled Coogler’s mood...”

Andy Samberg wasn’t asking for a pat on the back for a joke. He’s a comedian. He made a joke. He’s not trying to run a civil rights movement.

it’s the same as any post about SNL (or a few other shows) that pop up on the internet

I find it amazing that people being outraged on Twitter is the basis for news stories these days.

I got serious secondhand embarassment reading about this faux outrage

Nah, too much other shit to be pissed about today.

yeah, those comments are dumb here. Samberg is levels ahead of Sandler. His digital shorts were basically the only reason people were watching SNL when he was there... and why they have failed at digital shorts since he left. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a really funny show. He’s a pretty funny dude.

I didn’t have a problem with the eventual joke. I thought the last bit was funny and on point.

I love whenever a comedian is in the news because it inevitably followed by a bunch of “he isn’t funny” comments.

it didn’t go over anyone’s head... they were so busy being fake outraged at the set-up that they missed a pretty perfect punch line.

Imma let this one pass. If everything is an outrage, then nothing gets to be one

I'm shocked there were people on Twitter pissed off about something.

The world is and always has been a nightmare; it just seems worse now because of our phones.
