They didn’t have public nudity rules on the books in SF for a long time, i think like 2016 they finally stopped supporting the topless/naked rides, but they don’t generally hassle the organized ones.

No, it’s 100% true, but I feel like for basketball because of the more orderly ball control for both men and women’s the athleticism is the part that makes it more interesting.  It’s just a personal preference, I enjoy women’s volleyball more for similar reasons as soccer, the skill shines more than the power. 

No, but it is illegal to obstruct traffic, which is what they have to do to skateboard down the street. And technically they would need a permit for the size of the gathering, but I’m sure people would look the other way on that. it’s more the blocking off the streets that’s the issue.
