The hummer EV has a 60-0 stopping distance of 137 feet (from car and driver). Its going to be okay. Its almost as if the braking system was designed with its weight in mind. Watch out for those mini vans and compact hybrids, though. (table below from consumer reports).

The screen is simply a different way to display the vital info that normally would be on a cluster of gauges and switches. It’s not like people will be watching Ozark while they ride.
